ADS Level 4 - General Administrative Support
The Registrar’s Office requires an ADS Level 4 to provide general administrative support for all areas of the Registrar’s Office. The position reports to the Assistant Registrar, and is a full-time term position to June 30, 2013.
This is a position to provide support to the areas of Admissions, Scholarships and Awards. Duties will include performing various administrative/clerical tasks including reception, directing calls, filing, opening and sorting mail, responding to emails, word processing, document management, data processing within the Student Information System and other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Grade 12 and successful completion of a secretarial/administrative course with at least one year related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience;
• Working knowledge and experience in computers and computer systems;
• The ability to work well with others while meeting regular deadlines;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
• The ability to work with minimum supervision.
Hours of Work:
33.75 hours per week
As soon as possible until June 30, 2013 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements.)
$34,266 to $37,701 per annum, prorated term as per CUPE 1870
