ED 585 IMPROVING LANGUAGE AND LITERACY ACHIEVEMENT (MEd Inclusive Certificate, one section, English)
This course looks at strategies teachers can employ to develop language and literacy skills in the students in their classrooms. Current research in this area is presented and critiqued.
Successful candidates will normally have school-based experience in a Canadian public K-12 system. For applicants without school-based experience, teaching in other contexts relevant and appropriate to the position will be considered.
In all instances, qualified applicants on the UPEI Sessional Roster of the Faculty of Education will be given priority.
The offering of this course is conditional pending final enrolment numbers.
