The School of Business at the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a sessional lecturer to teach an MBA course in the 2013 fall semester, subject to budgetary approval:
Bus. 608 - Business Research Methods (offered November 1- December 14, 2013)
This course looks at research as a systematic, objective, and creative process of gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information for evidence-based management. It examines how research is a significant tool of the modern manager, and provides models and frameworks for evaluating existing research, completing original research, decision-making, and integrated research writing. The course utilizes concrete research projects and dissemination of results.
Successful applicants will have a PhD, preferably in a business discipline, with expertise in the practicalities of the research process as it relates to the business environment. A knowledge and familiarity with “Evidence based Management” principles would be an advantage.
